View Comments The Vermont-born jam-rock band Twiddle won t be holding its annual Tumble Down festival at Waterfront Park in Burlington this year, and instead will play two nights at the Champlain Valley Exposition. The shows, dubbed “Double Down” and presented by Higher Ground, will take place Aug. 6-7 on the midway lawn at the fairgrounds in Essex Junction. Twiddle, which began at Castleton University in the early 2000s, normally hosts a two-day festival in Burlington as part of the larger Lake Champlain Maritime Festival in late July. Tumble Down features headlining performances by Twiddle as well as a variety of supporting acts each day.
