Inside The Ropes‘ Gary Cassidy recently spoke with former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley ahead of his big Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match at AEW

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently invited WWE to come to Jacksonville, and Moxley was asked about his thoughts on a WWE – AEW crossover.
“That would never happen,” Moxley stated. “That’s not even worth wasting any mental energy to… You know. I mean, if you want to fantasy book some cool s t. You know, maybe you could fantasy book it for, like, fun magazine, stuff.
“You know, Like back in the day, in magazines, you used to always have, like, ‘Dream match. Bill Goldberg versus Steve Austin,’ in ’98. But that ain’t gonna happen.”

Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will soon join his wife not only as a new parent but a published author.
On Renee Paquette s podcast Tuesday, she and AEW president Tony Khan revealed the news during a discussion about Moxley with Khan saying he has read some of it, describing it as awesome.
Paquette said that Moxley is using her laptop to write it, sending it to himself via her email. She said she has been pressing him to write a book for some time because of his memory and speaking skills, adding he s writing it himself.
No details on a publisher or a release date were given. It wasn t specifically stated it would be an autobiography, but that is assumed based on the light amount of information Paquette and Khan gave.
AEW Dynamite: Kenny Omega reunites with Young Bucks, Good Brothers

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega defended his title against Rey Fenix in the main event of Dynamite where the champ was joined by old friends.
ADVERTISEMENT Omega and Fenix had a highly-competitive and high-flying match that pushed both grapplers to the limit. Wednesday s episode of Dynamite was the first night of AEW s New Year s Smash event.
Fenix was able to survive multiple Powerbombs from Omega and reverse his One-Winged Angel finishing move. Fenix performed a Cutter and attempted a Frog Splash that Omega blocked by putting his knees up.
