Honda chief admits F1 exit a real shame
Honda chief admits F1 exit a real shame Max Verstappen, Portuguese GP 2020 © Red Bull Honda s F1 chief says it is a real shame that the Japanese manufacturer is pulling out of the sport at the end of this year. Although the carmaker is tipped to help Red Bull run the operations of the current works engine program from 2022 and beyond, Honda will no longer be officially involved in Formula 1. It is a real shame that at the end of the year we can no longer challenge ourselves in Formula 1, Honda s F1 boss Masashi Yamamoto is quoted by the Japanese-language note.com.

Imola hopes spectators can attend April race
Imola hopes spectators can attend April race Antonio Giovinazzi, Emilio Romagna GP 2020 © Alfa Romeo Imola has beaten Portimao to the first revised race calendar for 2021, as Formula 1 confirms that Melbourne and Shanghai will not take place as scheduled. With the global covid crisis continuing to rage, Formula 1 announced that the first race of the season will now be in Bahrain. It is understood the ten teams have also agreed to move the pre-season test to the island Kingdom before the Bahrain opener and then the newly-announced race at Imola. Melbourne will now take place in November. It is great news that we have already been able to agree a rescheduled date for the Australian GP and are continuing to work with our Chinese colleagues to find a solution to race there in 2021 if something changes, said new F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.
