MOORHEAD, Minn. A 62-year-old Moorhead man has died from severe burns suffered in a fire this week at a north Moorhead day care center.
Police are investigating the cause of death, and Blue s body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner s Office in St. Paul for an autopsy.
The state fire marshal s office is investigating the cause of the fire at the two-story home that was used exclusively as a day care center.

MOORHEAD A fire broke out in a Moorhead day care center Tuesday afternoon, July 20, leaving a man with life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from a two-story house at 710 12th St. N. around noon Tuesday. When crews arrived, they found a fire in a kitchen on the second floor of the building and a man with severe burns.
(Moorhead, MN) Moorhead fire responded to a blaze Tuesday afternoon involving a in-home daycare.
Authorities say at 12:02 pm they were dispatched to a fire in a two story home at 710 12th Street North, initially reported by a resident walking in the area who noticed the smoke.
Crews arrived to find smoke and fire in a kitchen on the second floor and a victim in close proximity to the fire. In conjunction with fire extinguishment, an adult male was removed from the residence by firefighters who began treatment for life-threatening injuries. The victim received initial treatment on the scene and transported by Sanford Ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. His current status is unknown.
