We have moved our businesses outside every Saturday so that we can safely operate and follow city health guidelines. Come see us and help us keep Logan Heights the cultural landmark it is!
Community initiative that was created in July 2020 to help struggling small businesses in Barrio Logan. Shop owners and local vendors set up outdoor booths along Logan Avenue. Food, drinks, clothing, and gifts available with a chicano twist. Masks and social distancing required. Shops of the Barrio include: Sew Loka, a contemporary sewing studio specializing in custom wears, vintage, and one-of-a-kinds; Beat Box Records, specializing in vintage vinyl records of Soul, Funk, Jazz, Classic Rock and Hip Hop; Agev Co, shop with crystals, wire wrapped jewelry and one of a kind art pieces; and La Paleta, a Mexican candy shop with decor and party goods.

“Falling,” streaming Jan. 14-17. The play by Deanna Jent, directed by La Jolla Playhouse’s Jacole Kitchen, explores the dynamic and complicated reality of a family with an autistic young man. $25.
• The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library presents
Logan Lone Piano concerts at noon Friday, Jan. 15, online. The free performance, featuring Joshua White and recorded at the Athenaeum Art Center, will be released on the Athenaeum’s YouTube channel.
• North Coast Repertory Theatre is streaming
“An Iliad” online through Sunday, Jan. 24. The adaptation of Homer’s classic poem about the Trojan War stars Richard Baird and is directed by David Ellenstein. $35.
