SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ â Pinal County Sheriff s Office is looking for a 28-year-old woman reported missing from the San Tan Valley area.
Jessica Goodwin was reportedly last heard from on Jan. 11 under abnormal circumstances. On Monday, Goodwin is said to have called off work and left her dog at home.
She is said to be 5 feet, 2 inches tall and 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and green eyes.
Officials say Goodwin s white 2013 Volkswagen Jetta was found abandoned near a wash off Bonnie Lane in Queen Creek Thursday.
EMS community helps paramedic as he and his son battle COVID-19

PHOENIX â The EMS community is coming together to help one of their own get back on his feet after both he and his son were hospitalized with COVID-19.
Garett Hensley has been a paramedic for 10 years and works for the medical transportation company AMR in Mesa.
The 51-year-old and the rest of his family were diagnosed with COVID last month. Hensley s condition quickly deteriorated. I have never felt that bad in my life. It was horrible, said Hensley.
He had trouble breathing, body aches, fever, and low oxygen levels. He ended up hospitalized for nearly two weeks.

HANCOCK, Mich. – Briana Gitchell (Eau Claire, Mich.) has committed to play for the Finlandia University softball team.
Gitchell joins Elizabeth Mukka (Fairland, Ind.), Hope Reinarz (Minneapolis, Minn.), Isabella Simpson (Bardstown, Ky.) and ShyAnn Vernam (San Tan Valley, Ariz.) in the 2021 recruiting class.
Gitchell played travel ball for the Lakeshore Storm. In 2017, she batted .378 as the Storm won the NSA Border Wars Indiana and were runners-up at Ohio Stingrays Futures Showcase tournaments.

Audrey DaDamio is the 2020 Michigan Division I cross country champion and state Meet of Champions winner. She was fifth overall at the AAU national cross country championships (15-18 age group) last week with the No. 6 high school time ever recorded at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. She is the Michigan Indoor Track Series state meet record holder in the 3,200 meters (10:24.78) and has won six regional and three Oakland County titles in track and cross country. DaDamio is the granddaughter of Olympic speed skating champion Terry McDermott and sister of Notre Dame distance All-American Rachel DaDamio.
