SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – San Diego Restaurant Week celebrates its 17th year and returns to the city April 11th-18th, 2021.
Restaurant Week is put on by the local Chapter of the California Restaurant Association to help drive business to our restaurant community, while offering the public discounted prix fixe menus at their favorite eateries.
San Diego Restaurant Week offers three-course, prix-fixe dinners at $20-60 and two-course, prix-fixe lunches for $10-25, depending on the restaurant.
Restaurants offer dynamic dining experiences including indoor & outdoor dining, to go options, multi-course menus including restaurant specialties, cocktails, brunch and more.
Restaurants range from fine dining to fast casual with 80 restaurants participating, from all over San Diego County
A troop of La Jolla Girl Scouts is growing the reach and spreading the word of a new Feeding San Diego initiative as its Bronze Award project.
Troop 4978, composed of 10- and 11-year-old girls from La Jolla Elementary and La Jolla Country Day schools, is reaching out to local restaurants to encourage them to sign up for Feeding San Diego’s “Gift a Meal” program. Through the initiative, guests at participating restaurants have the option to add to their order a $15 meal for a person facing hunger.
Once a restaurant has at least five donated meals, it prepares the food, alerts Feeding San Diego via the MealConnect app, and Feeding San Diego sends a trained MealConnect volunteer driver or community partner to pick up the meals and get them to people in need.
San Diego Restaurant Week plans April return
Despite the ever-changing coronavirus-related regulations and restrictions on restaurants, San Diego Restaurant Week is scheduled to return in April (instead of the usual January) in an eight-day “Spring Harvest.”
The event will feature more than 160 restaurants from across San Diego County offering prix fixe menus April 11-18.
Three-course dinner menus will range from $20 to $60 per person, and two-course lunch menus will cost $10 to $25 per person. Learn more at
