On the day jurors were expected to fill out questionnaires for his trial, Sean Matthew Walker, charged with the Aug. 10, 2018 vehicular manslaughter deaths of California Highway Patrol Officer Kirk Griess of Vacaville and Jaime Bueza Manuel, a Philippines national, has agreed to plead guilty to two counts of negligent vehicular homicide, a misdemeanor.
The Solano County District Attorney’s office has agreed to the deal, as court records on Tuesday show that Walker will be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 13 in Department 7 in the Justice Building in Vallejo.

“We want our staff to be safe. We were the first industry shut down and the last to reopen,” said Filmores entertainment manager Kaspar Cameron on Tuesday.
Filmores isn’t the only club taking this approach, added Cameron, who noted that he has been in conversation with the owners and managers of all the other clubs in Toronto, and they will adopt the same approach when they reopen on Friday.

BENGALURU: TCS s work around electric vehicles (EVs) and autonomous vehicles (AVs) appears to have gathered pace, particularly after its acquisition of the assets of General Motors technical centre in India in Bengaluru in 2019.
The company has partnered with over 15 startups in these areas, including Stoneridge, Velodyne and Luminar Tech. These ventures are working in areas including lidar and battery management systems.
Stoneridge is a designer and manufacturer of highly engineered electrical and electronic systems, components and modules, primarily for the automotive, commercial vehicle, motorcycle, agricultural and off-highway vehicle markets.
