A 37-year-old man is in police custody after he allegedly assaulted a Cuban woman and her five-month-old daughter.   The incident allegedly took place at about 2am on Monday at the victim s apartment along Satar Street, Aranguez.  Residents of the area heard a loud commotion, followed by screams.  They notified the police and officers of the San Juan Police Station responded.  When they arrived, they had cause to confront the suspect, who had the strong smell of alcohol on him.  They managed to subdue the suspect and were informed that he had assaulted the woman and threatened to stab her and her five-month-old child.
