Sheriff s Office Identifies Wednesday s Standoff Suspect   SAN ANGELO, TX – The Tom Green County Sheriff s Office released more information about Wednesday s standoff. As previously reported, on Jan. 6, multiple law enforcement agencies were dispatched to the La Quinta Inn for the report of a rollover crash. See: WATCH: Armed Suspect Trapped in Wrecked Vehicle According to the Tom Green County, on Jan. 6 at approximately 10:30, investigators from the Tom Green County Sheriff s Office Criminal Investigation Division were conducting surveillance on a known felony fugitive. As the fugitive was entering a vehicle, he observed investigators and began to flee in the vehicle.  Investigators began to follow and as the fugitive rounded a corner at high speed he lost control and rolled the vehicle.

Some San Angelo Police Officers Receive First COVID-19 Vaccinations   SAN ANGELO, TX – Some San Angelo Police officers have been administered the Coronavirus Vaccine on Thursday. According to Shannon, on Dec. 17, officers with the San Angelo Police Department began receiving vaccinations. The first vaccines were administered to health care workers, out patient health facility employees and first responders. The first people to get the vaccine were the doctors at Shannon Medical Center. Here is the video: Earlier Thursday Gov. Abbott confirmed that another round of COVID-19 vaccines is being delivered across Texas Thursday. Shannon received 1,950 initial doses of the Pfizer Coronavirus Vaccine.
