According to officials, the patients have been identified in the following way:
Male in his 80s from Tom Green County
Male in his 70s from Mitchell County
Female in his 70s from Crockett County
This brings the total COVID-19-related death count in Tom Green County to 210: 137 from Tom Green County and 73 from other counties.

Covid Christmas Surge: More Than 200 New Infections
SAN ANGELO, TX Four days after Christmas and Tom Green County surpassed 200 new Covid-19 infections in one day.
On Tuesday, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed 226 new cases of Covid-19. This significant bump elevates the active case count to 1,884 and adds 4 new hospitalized patients.
Tuesday s cases were confirmed using 31 PCR tests and 195 antigen tests.
The total positive case has now reached 12,423.

Coronavirus: More Than 170 New Infections Reported Monday
SAN ANGELO, TX Three days after Christmas and Tom Green County appears to see a significant increase in new coronavirus infections.
On Monday, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed 176 new cases, a significant bump from previous days. The cases were confirmed using 13 PCR tests and 163 antigen tests.
Officials also confirmed there a now 93 patients in the hospital, up 11 from Sunday afternoon.
The total positive case count has now reached 12,197. For reference, Tom Green County reached the 5,000 mark on November 1st.
According to DSHS, Tom Green County has administered 1,814 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
COVID-19: Slight Uptick in Hospitalizations Reported Wednesday
SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Health Department reported a slight uptick in COVID-19 hospitalizations on Wednesday.
According to the City of San Angelo s Public Information Office, on Dec. 23, the San Angelo s Health Department reported another 149 new positive COVID-19 cases.
That brings Tom Green County s total count since March to 11,693. There are 119,200 residents in Tom Green County.
There are currently 85 COVID-19 patients in the hospital. Yesterday Shannon reported 82 patients in the hospital.
There has been 204 Coronavirus deaths in Tom Green County.
There are currently 1,605 active cases in Tom Green County.

Covid Infections Confirmed in Patients from ages 3 to 91 Tuesday
SAN ANGELO, TX Even as San Angelo is getting ready to celebrate Christmas in a few days, the coronavirus doesn t appear to be slowing down.
On Tuesday, the San Angelo Health Department confirmed 131 new cases of COVID-19. According to health officials, the cases were confirmed using 19 PCR tests and 112 antigen tests.
But even as the total number of active cases appears to have decreased slightly, the number of hospitalizations has increased by three. The total number of hospitalized patients is 82.
According to the DSHS COVID-19 Dashboard Trauma Service Area K remains well below the 15 percent threshold implemented by Governor Abbott. This is in part to the addition of nearly 200 beds in the service area in the last month.
