This weekend marks the end of Black History Month, but NOT Black Restaurant Week San Antonio. For the first time, the event has been extended to two weeks long and will come to an end on March 7. BRWSA celebrates the diverse and culturally-rich heritage of Black San Antonio, and features 30 Black-owned restaurants, food trucks and vendors.. Unlike other major Texas cities like Houston or Dallas, San Antonio has a fairly small Black population less than 10 percent, and they often feel like they are an overlooked population in the city.
