In a statement issued here Irai Anbu said he had authored some books during his free time based on his experience and knowledge gained.

Chennai, May 10 : Top Chennai colleges are divided over the conduct of online examinations with some like the Loyola College, and the Guru Nanak College planning to conduct online examinations while the D.G. Vaishnav College has postponed their semester examination till June.
The Madras Christian College and the Women s Christian College have already completed their online examinations.
Chennai colleges were planning to conduct the online semester examination from May 3 onwards after the election results but the state has announced a lockdown from May 10 to May 24.

Chennai, May 7 : The Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) headed by actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan on Friday relieved former MNM Vice President R. Mahendran from all party posts.
Mahendran had quit the party on Thursday, days after MNM s dismal performance in the recently-held Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, in which the party drew a blank.
MNM General Secretary (Headquarters) Santhosh Babu said in a statement that Mahendran has been relieved from all his responsibilities and positions in the party.
Babu also said that the MNM general secretaries had taken responsibility for the party s poll debacle and resigned from their posts, denying rumours that these leaders had quit the party, adding that party President Kamal Haasan will take a decision on these leaders.

Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), headed by Haasan, contested from 142 constituencies.
Haasan had considered four other constituencies for his candidature including Alandur, T. Nagar, Velachery and Mylapore.

Several candidates and leaders test positive for COVID-19 After a hectic election season in which campaigning meant that not all COVID-19 safety norms could be followed, several candidates and leaders have tested positive for the infection. Congress candidate for Srivilliputhur P.S.W. Madhava Rao died on Sunday after he was admitted to hospital for COVID-19 symptoms.
Sources said he was admitted to a private hospital in Madurai on March 30 after he developed fever, cough and body pain.
While he was moved to the intensive care unit after he complained of breathlessness, Mr. Rao’s RT-PCR test came in negative, according to a source in the Health Department.
