I think most of us have developed a love-hate relationship with this format and accepted it as a necessary evil that keeps the scene afloat for the time being. But in most cases, the experience of watching a person mixing in his or her own bedroom with some plants and colourful LED lights in the background wasn’t really that rewarding, no matter the selection. At one point, I just gave up and deleted most of the links I’ve been keeping for months, opting for the classic radio show and DJ mix format instead.

Bicep, Honey Dijon, Andy C, India Jordan, more locked for Forum club Birmingham opening season

Forum, a new 3500 capacity venue opening in Birmingham this summer, has revealed full line-up details for its opening season, which will run from August to September 2021.  Housed in the building that was formerly home to the Birmingham Ballroom, The Academy and Birmingham Academy, the newly renovated, multi-faceted Forum a venue designed with DJs and live electronic acts in mind is getting ready to open in time for summer.  The venue’s second room – which will also operate as standalone club, Space 54  – will be kitted out with a huge d&b soundystem, and is tailor made to create a headsy club atmosphere for up to 350 guests. Terminal V announces full line-up for two-day Halloween event

Terminal V has announced the full line-up for its first ever two-day event this year. After launching in 2017 as a one-day, two-stage event, Terminal V are heading back to Edinburgh this year for a two-day Halloween event on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st August. Among the artists performing at the weekender are Ben UFO, Honey Dijon, Octo Octa and Shanti Celeste, with Avalon Emerson, Ejeca, Ewan McVicar, Floorplan and Moxie also slated for sets. KiNK will bring his incredible live show to Edinburgh, with other electronic stalwarts in the form of Derrick Carter, Helena Hauff, Mind Against, Paula Temple and Tale of Us also joining Terminal V for the Halloween event.
