More than 10 theatres will reopen on beginning
Saturday, March 13, and reopening will continue through
Monday, March 15. All theatres will reopen with enhanced cleaning and safety protocols, which have consistently received 96 percent guest satisfaction rating, as well as Cinemark’s fan-favorite Private Watch Parties and some of this year’s newest films. Many theaters around Puget Sound Region are starting to reopen now that the area has moved to phase 2 under Gov. Jay Inslee s plan to resume economic activity.
Several cinemas have reopened their doors, including the Admiral Theater in West Seattle, which only had a handful of customers for their first showings. But the theater’s managing partner said he’s happy to have some customers who are opting to pick a theater over watching a movie in their living room.
