Updated: 5:22 PM PDT May 10, 2021 KCRA Staff Video captured by LiveCopter 3 shows a bus crashing in Penryn after the driver led California Highway Patrol officers on a chase.CHP s Auburn Division told KCRA 3 the bus was stopped on Highway 65 near the Roseville Galleria around 4:15 p.m. The woman was pulled over and was told officers were going to tow it because it had no registration or plates.The woman instead drove away from CHP and got on eastbound Interstate 80, headed toward Newcastle, CHP said. She exited the freeway then got back on westbound lanes, where she exited in Penryn.She crashed after exiting Penryn, video from LiveCopter 3 showed. At some point, the bus hit a vehicle before coming to a stop and being surrounded by officers. Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center At Bella Vida To Hold COVID-19 Vaccination Event
Inspired by the community, Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center at Bella Vida (SCV Senior Center) is set to hold a one-day free vaccination clinic in May for local Santa Clarita residents.
Scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., the SCV Senior Center is expected to host a free vaccination clinic for eligible Santa Clarita residents, which includes residents of long-term care facilities, persons 18 years and older (starting April 15, 2021), any person with an underlying condition or disability that puts them at higher risk, and individuals employed in healthcare, emergency services, education and childcare, food and agriculture, maintenance services, and transportation and logistics.
