While children are usually on the receiving end of plenty of gifts at Christmas, it was all about festive giving for pupils at one primary school near Helston. All the classes at Wendron School took part in this year s Santa Run in aid of Children s Hospice South West. Due to the coronavirus restrictions, the 2020 Santas on the Run event went freestyle , with groups, schools and individuals encouraged to hold their own fundraising events in aid of the hospices, including Cornwall s Little Harbour at St Austell. Wendron assistant headteacher Chris Roberts said: The children all dressed up and looked festive, and had an amazing time.

Provo • The shadows of 2020 are about the only thing that remain of a rather unusual and chaotic year. But time passes quickly and it will soon be but a memory.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Santa Claus traded in his sleigh for a fire truck Friday night to spread cheer to area neighborhoods.
The Jolliest Elf took a ride with the Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department for the first night of the 18th annual âSanta Runâ.
Volunteer firefighters say theyâre happy to bring people a little joy this time of year, especially now.
