This celebration of Mexican-American art and culture is presented with our longtime collaborators, the Chapman Latinx Staff and Faculty Forum.

Heartbeat of Mexico: Mariachi Fest
Saturday, May 15 at 1 p.m. PDT
Nationally recognized mariachi ensembles such as Las Colibrí, Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, and Mariachi Espectacular share the virtual stage with local school-based mariachi programs from Chapman University, Santa Ana High School, and Garey High School.

Two Santa Ana High School students are filled with joy as they ve recently been accepted to several Ivy League schools.
Stephany Gutierrez and Oziel Flores are proud children of immigrant students and now, they are achieving their dreams of getting into some of the most prestigious universities in the country.
Gutierrez and Flores were both accepted to Columbia, Brown, Dartmouth, and Harvard University. Flores was also accepted to Princeton University as well.
Gutierrez hopes to become a pro-bono attorney and Flores plans to get his degree in mechanical engineering.
