After years of being hounded on the textline and a brief and fiery campaign from brekky hosts Bryce and Ebony, triple j has finally done it: Australia’s most iconic band, The Wiggles, will make their Like A Version debut this Friday.
OG members Murray Cook (who’s more known for his guitar shredding chops these days) and Jeff will be coming back for the occasion, joining the current line-up of Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce and Emma Watkins. “Murray Wiggle, the rock god, he’s agreed. The OG’s coming together with the current Wiggles, and we’re going to create music history with a great song on Like a Version… We can’t wait,” Field told fans in a video announcement earlier this week.
Sandi Thom
Alexandria Sandi Thom (born 11 August 1981) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Banff, Scotland. She became widely known in 2006 after her debut single, I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in My Hair) , topped the UK Singles Chart in June of that year. The single became the biggest-selling single of 2006 in Australia, where it spent ten weeks at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart. Thom has released five studio albums:
