Pennsylvania won’t be in the “Severe Weather Zone” this summer, but you can expect “showery, sizzling” conditions by mid- to late summer, according to the Farmers’ Almanac.
While that severe weather designation has been reserved for Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska, Almanac editor Peter Geiger points out that there will be “a greater than average frequency of thunderstorms for a large portion of the country. Many of these storms could prove to be quite strong, particularly over the eastern third of the nation.”
Once again, our friends at the
Farmers’ Almanac have worked whatever magic they do to look into our weather future. For summer 2021 they are predicting that Wyoming may be in for an especially hot and stormy season.
“There will be a greater-than-average frequency of thunderstorms for a large portion of the country,” Almanac editor, Peter Geiger, Philom said in a statement. “Many of these storms could prove to be quite strong, particularly over the eastern third of the nation.”
