The winning number for the NT$2 million grand prize is 39993297, while three numbers qualify for the first prize of NT$200,000: 59028801, 02813820 and 06896234. Invoice holders that match the last seven digits of the first-prize numbers will win NT$40,000 and those with invoices that match the last six digits will win NT$10,000. Other prizes are NT$4,000 for invoices with the last five digits of the first-prize numbers, NT$1,000 for invoices with the last four digits and NT$200 for invoices with the last three digits.

Cathay United Bank fined NT$12 million for internal control lapses 12/29/2020 10:23 PM Image taken from google.com.tw/maps Taipei, Dec. 29 (CNA) Taiwan s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) on Tuesday fined Cathay United Bank (國泰世華銀行) NT$12 million (US$422,982) after one of its financial advisors was found to have misappropriated NT$17.32 million from clients accounts. FSC Banking Bureau Deputy Director-General Lin Chih-chi (林志吉) said the FSC handed out the fine following an investigation lasting several months after first receiving reports from Cathay United Bank in May about the alleged irregularity. According to Lin, the bank found that an employee surnamed Hung (洪) at its Banqiao branch had misappropriated a large sum of money from four clients over a period of four-years-and-one-month; from March 2016 to March 2020.

SUN Bank in New Taipei City (CNA photo) TAIPEI (Taiwan News) Taiwan’s E.SUN Financial Holding Company (E.SUN FHC) announced on Tuesday (Dec. 22) that it aims to provide English-language services at all of its branches by 2026. Bank President Magi Chen (陳美滿) on Tuesday said that as of now, English-language services are available at 17 branches in Taiwan. That number should increase to 30 by next year, said Chen, adding that the company plans to have all of its 139 branches across Taiwan be English friendly by 2026. The first step is to promote English services in branches located in central business districts, tourist areas, and areas where foreign communities are concentrated, the bank said. Services include bilingual application forms and an English-language interface on its ATMs and its online banking system, according to the bank.
