Cache Valley Virtual Chocolate Festival
We re all missing our favorite in-person events over the past year, and there s certainly no way to replicate the experience of wandering through a space where you can nibble a wide range of tasty chocolate treats. But the Cache Valley Chocolate Festival is still moving forward with its annual fundraiser for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah in fittingly enough for an organization dedicated to keeping people safe, the event is proceeding as a virtual version.
The virtual Chocolate Festival itself takes place Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m., including presentations by festival judges and dessert-makers, visions of past years showstopper treats, information about the work of Planned Parenthood that is supported by the fund-raiser, and musical performances by artists including Highline Drifters and Kendall Becker. LEWISBURG, Pa. The first weekend in February is typically a busy one in Lewisburg as Market Street is lined with ice sculptures. The Lewisburg Ice Festival is a tradition for many, but it was canceled this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Without the ice sculptures this year, that was a concern of ours. What is going to be the draw for people to come down? Leslie Hosterman asked.
Lewisburg s Chocolate Festival is always held alongside the ice festival. The Chocolate Festival is still happening with safety precautions in place. People can still walk downtown and sample chocolate.
Plans moving forward for Fourth of July and Chocolate Festival

The Events Committee for the City of Ripley is doing just what the name implies. The group is already making plans for the Fourth of July and the annual Chocolate Festival.
Mayor Carolyn Rader shared with City Council the basic plan that the committee, which consists of Rader, Bobbi Ferrell, Matt Anderson, and Mike Ruben, has been discussing.
“This year the Fourth of July falls on a Sunday,” she said. “Our suggestion is to hold the parade and fireworks on Saturday. This gives us a little leeway for the fireworks in case there’s rain.”

The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for the annual Oakdale Chocolate Festival, which is currently scheduled for May 15 and 16, 2021. Applications are available on the website and are first-come, first-served.
The annual Chocolate Festival is a family-friendly event that draws vendors from every corner of California and beyond featuring hand-crafted items, delicious food, and of course, chocolate for the ever-popular “Chocolate Alley” attraction. The weekend typically also sees an influx of visitors from around the state for the sweet gathering.
