CHAFFEE COUNTY, Colo. â Barry Morphew is facing two new charges in connection with the alleged murder of his wife, Suzanne Morphew, who has been missing for more than a year.
Prosecutors have added tampering with a deceased human body, a class 3 felony, and possession of a dangerous weapon, a class 5 felony, to the list of charges Barry is already facing in the case, according to court documents filed Tuesday.
Barry, 53, was arrested May 5 on the initial charges of first-degree murder after deliberation, tampering with physical evidence and an attempt to influence a public servant, according to the documents.

COLORADO police have arrested Suzanne Morphew s husband Barry Morphew and have charged him with first-degree murder in her disappearance.
Barry Morphew was charged on Wednesday with first-degree murder, tampering with evidence, and attempt to influence a public servant, Fox reports.
Suzanne Morphew, 49, was reported missing by her neighbor on Mother s Day last May 10.
She reportedly left her home on a solo bike ride and never returned, with police finding her bike less than a mile away from their Maysville home.
