Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu took to social media to wish Adivi Sesh a happy birthday by unveiling the first-look poster of his upcoming film Major. The film, based on the life of late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu s GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. Major will hit the theatres in summer 2021.

December 17 : Superstar Mahesh Babu drops the first look poster of Major, a biopic based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
The biopic stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role of Major Sandeep, and he has aced the look of the 26/11 hero. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, a pan India bilingual film, also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murali Sharma in leading roles.

After unveiling the screen test video of Adivi Sesh as Sandeep Unnikrishnan on the death anniversary of the latter, the makers of ‘Major’ have released the first look poster on the lead actor from the biopic. Draped in commando uniform, the 35-year-old can be seen armed with a sniper rifle in hand as he goes on with his mission. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Major is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the NSG commando who rescued hostages and lost his life in the valorous mission during the tragic 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.
