The Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) announced an Instagram photo contest to be held in conjunction with World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD).
The contest aims to promote public awareness on WTISD and the information and communication technology (ICT) development in the country.
The contest is open to Brunei residents aged 15 and above. The closing date for submission of entries is May 31. Entries will be shortlisted and winners will be announced at a prize presentation ceremony. For information, visit www.aiti.gov.bn.
WTISD is an initiative backed by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to raise awareness of the possibilities that the use of the Internet and other ICT can bring to societies and economies, as well as of ways to bridge the digital divide. It is celebrated on May 17 annually.
