The Saskatchewan Roughriders have announced the three winning recipients from their “Riders and Special Blend Community Support Initiative”.
The three communities that’ll receive $5,000 each include the town of Springside, the Peepeekisis Cree Nation and the town of Hafford.
Springside will use the funds to upgrade some of their equipment for their local fire department while Peepeekisis will use the money to construct ball diamonds.
The Riders would like to thank the 75 hundred voters in Rider Nation who voted during the campaign.
