Corinthia Hotels properties in Malta, Russia, Sudan and Hungary were among the world’s travel elite to receive top honours at the ‘World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2013’ held in Doha, Qatar, on 30th November.
The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa was voted ‘Malta’s Leading Hotel’ for the fifth consecutive year, whereas the Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg was named ‘Russia’s leading Conference Hotel’ for the second year running. The other two awards went to Corinthia Hotel Khartoum as ‘Sudan’s Leading Hotel’ and the exclusive residences within the Corinthia Hotel Budapest as ‘Hungary’s Leading Hotel Residences’.

HSBC Bank Malta plc ended the week 1.3% higher, as 31,570 shares changed ownership across seven transactions. The bank ended the week at €0.80.
