The woman was killed when the motorcycle she was riding on as a passenger was rear-ended by a vehicle on International Speedway Boulevard near the intersection of Hagen Terrace, police said.
The motorcyclist was westbound on International Speedway Boulevard when his hat flew off. So, he made a U-Turn at Hagen Terrace and headed eastbound to pick up his hat. He was stopped in the roadway when his motorcycle was struck from behind by a Toyota RAV 4 sport utility vehicle, police said.
The motorcycle was wedged under SUV and the victim was knocked off the back of the Softail Harley Davidson motorcycle and died at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old man from Durand, Illinois, was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries, Bendayan said.

Mar 16, 2021 7:26 AM Daytona Beach, FL - A New Hampshire woman is dead after police say a rear-end collision knocked her off the back of the motorcycle she was riding on. Officers say the crash occurred on International Speedway Boulevard (ISB) near Hagen Terrace just before 5:30 Sunday morning (March 14th). According to a report from police, a 2013 Harley motorcycle and a 2000 Toyota Rav4 were both in the outside right lanes of eastbound ISB when the Toyota hit the back of the Harley, wedging the rear of the bike underneath the front of the vehicle. As a result, the male rider, an 18-year-old male from Durand, Illinois, and the woman, who is from Seabrook, New Hampshire, fell off the bike. Police say the woman died after she hit the road. The male rider was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
