Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe, the British dual national detained for five years in Iran, was subject to torture that has left her with grave PTSD, according to doctors allowed to assess her condition remotely.
Campaigners have called on the Foreign Office to do more to protect Britons jailed overseas after two doctors from the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims concluded that Mrs Zaghari Ratcliffe s allegations were “highly consistent” with physical and psychological torture in detention.
