Eight years later, Cousins found an answer to his prayer for opportunity to help: a career in the NFL. As a rookie with Washington in 2012, he was invited by a teammate to attend a benefit for the International Justice Mission. The dots quickly connected in his mind.
That speaker Cousins remembered hearing in high school? His name was Gary Haugen, the founder of IJM, a Christian organization that works to stop trafficking and abuse of the poor around the world by rescuing and restoring victims, holding perpetrators accountable, and strengthening justice systems. That event further stoked the passion in Cousins to join the cause.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tiruchi range, Z. Annie Vijaya has been awarded the Sabre-APAC award for her initiative, ‘Project Shield,’ launched in September.
The award, presented by SABRE- Asia Pacific, recognises campaigns that demonstrate high levels of strategic planning and creative results. Hester Cecilia, Director, SABRE, handed over the award to the DIG in Tiruchi on Saturday.

Gatchalian: SIM card registration can track down child cybersex traffickers
Senator Win Gatchalian said the mandatory registration of prepaid SIM cards is a potential mechanism that will aid the government crackdown on the online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC).
Gatchalian explained that the absence of a SIM card registration law is one of the barriers that law enforcers face when running after child cybersex offenders who use technology to shield themselves with anonymity. As early as 2014, a study by the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime flagged that in carrying out any form of child abuse and exploitation, potential offenders utilize disposable or prepaid SIM cards, which do not require any form of registration in some countries.
