The FIA World Touring Car Cup races in Portugal have been moved to Estoril for the 2021 season, although promoter Eurosport Events has signed a new three-year deal to return to the streets of Vila Real from 2022.
It marks the second consecutive year in which racing cannot take place on the streets of Vila Real due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Restrictions on mass gatherings in Portugal mean that holding the event in Vila Real is not possible next month.

However, the date for the event remains unchanged on June 26 – 27.
Estoril last hosted World Touring Cars back in 2008, and in recent years it also hosted the TCR International Series (not promoted by Eurosport) in 2016.
Following his triumph at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya, Hamilton signalled his intention to sign his next Mercedes deal before August’s three-week summer break.
The Englishman is currently operating on a one-year contract, agreed just six weeks before the new season.
But in an interview with the PA news agency, team principal Wolff says he believes Hamilton’s next deal will be longer than a 12-month add-on.
“Yes, it should be [more than a year],” he said.
“We don’t want to be in a stressful situation every single year where we are absolutely flat-out trying to win races and needing to negotiate. I would rather that doesn’t happen every year.

Debutant openers Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh shared a record partnership as hosts Nepal made a flying start to their Tri-Nations Twenty20 International Series, defeating the Netherlands by nine wickets in the curtain-raiser at the TU cricket grounds in Kirtipur on Saturday.
The duo shared a 116-run partnership for the first wicket and both completed half-centuries in their first-ever T20 International match as Nepal chased a 137-run target with five overs to spare losing just one wicket. The duo also surpassed the previous best first wicket T20I partnership of 108 runs set by skipper Gyanendra Malla and Paras Khadka against Bhutan in the 2019 South Asian Games.

The Thunderbirds finished last year in seventh.
The biggest surprise to come out of the Thunderbirds camp in the offseason was that co-captain and former Aussie Diamond and English Rose Chelsea Pitman was not offered a new contract. Another key loss for the Thunderbirds is the return of the doctor Layla Guscoth to England to re-join Team Bath Netball, be closer to family and friends and to further her medical career. Adelaide also did not re-sign the experienced Kate Shimmin.
