CRESTLINE After a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Living History Days are being held at Lowe-Volk Park once again by the Crawford Park District in conjunction with Colonel Crawford’s Company.
The event will kick off with an opening ceremony on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. with the opening ceremony and will end on Sunday at 4 p.m. A schedule is listed below.
Living History Days tells the story of the capture and death of Col. William Crawford at the end of the Revolutionary War in June of 1782. Beginning Friday night at 8 p.m., learn about the Native Americans who inhabited these lands. Saturday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., watch the capture of Col. After a year of unprecedented turmoil, canceled events, and silenced live music, people are ready for things to return to normal. The Memphis Botanic Garden hopes to achieve this by hosted a number of fun summer events, complete with concerts, food trucks, and even a mud party.
Throughout June, the Botanic Garden will have several family-friendly events, according to
WMC 5, such as the Food Truck Garden Party on June 10. From 5-8 p.m., the Garden is partnering with Oak Hall and Vineyard Vines to combine live music with a variety of local food trucks for a fun summer night out.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Botanic Garden has a month-filled calendar of family-friendly events including live performances, food trucks and of course gardening!
Oak Hall and Vineyard Vines partner to host a Food Truck Garden Party on June 10 from 5-8 p.m.
There will be a variety of local food trucks from the Memphis Food Truckers Alliance and live music.
This event is pet-friendly, the release stated.
