.-Kasmin is presenting the gallerys first solo exhibition of work by artist Ali Banisadr (b.1976, Tehran). Comprising nine recent paintings, several of which were included in Banisadrs critically-acclaimed museum show at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Hartford, CT, in 2020-21, the exhibition also includes a new large-scale diptych, the first multi-panel work by the artist in six years. These Specks of Dust coincides with the publication of a major monograph by Rizzoli Electa featuring contributions from Negar Azimi, Robert Hobbs, Joe Lin-Hill, and John Yau.

.-Galerie Nathalie Obadia is presenting REACHING HI HER GROUNDS FROM THE RUB HE SHE WE GROW, artist Laure Prouvosts first exhibition in Brussels, her new home. Winner of the Turner Prize in 2013, the artist represented France at the 58th Biennale of Venice (2019) with the pavilion DEEP SEE BLUE SURROUNDING YOU/VOIS CE BLEU PROFOND TE FONDRE, which is currently on show at LAM, after having traveled to Les Abattoirs, in 2020. Last year, Laure Prouvost also participated in the 22nd Biennale of Sidney.
A contemporary art festival is expanding from London to take place across the country, from the Isle of Skye to Wales this summer.
Art Night 2021 will take place in more than 10 locations around the United Kingdom including Abergavenny train station, Eastbourne, Leeds and Cambridge, while a series of commissions will unfold online.
For the first time the festival, this year titled Nothing Compares 2 U, will take place for a month, running from June 18 to July 18.
It will include a series of billboards across the country by Guerrilla Girls, their biggest UK public commission to date, titled The Male Graze which will explore bad behaviour both historically and in the present day.
