The Withdrawal Agreement and the end of the Transition Period
If you are a UK national living in Italy and were lawfully living here before December 31, 2020, your lifelong rights are protected by the Withdrawal Agreement. This includes the right to live, work and access healthcare as you do now. You can find more information on your rights in Italy in the Citizens’ Rights Information Booklet available on gov.uk.

With the amendment, Indian citizens will now be able to apply for renewal through the Indian Embassies / Missions abroad, from where these applications would come to the VAHAN portal in India, which will be considered by the respective RTOs. Indians travelling abroad can apply for renewal of the IDP online from 15 February.
In a big relief to overseas travellers, the Union government has amended the rules to enable Indians applying for renewal of the international driving permit (IDP) online.
Indians travelling abroad can apply for renewal of the IDP online from 15 February, if their permits expire while they are still overseas.
According to the Road Transport and Highways Ministry, they don t need to apply in person.

Indians living abroad (NRIs) can now renew their International Driving Permit (IDP) through their Embassies or Missions abroad. The new system will come into effect from February 15.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will facilitate the issuance of International Driving Permit (IDP) for Indian citizens whose IDP has expired while they are abroad.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on Sunday informed that there was no mechanism for its renewal while citizens were abroad and their IDP had expired.
