A historic Dunkirk evacuation boat has been totally lost after being destroyed by a fire in Hampton, according to the Association of Dunkirk Little Ships.

The damage is being assessed after a large fire in Hampton sent thick columns of black smoke into the sky over the Thames.
Firefighters descended on Hampton Boat Sheds at Platt s Eyot, an island on the Thames at Hampton at around 5pm today.
Fire officials warned people in the area to close their doors and windows.
A number of fire engines and police cars rushed to the incident, which has now been brought under control.
