One of my favorite ‘on this day’ clips to play EVERY single year. That Al Michaels, ‘do you believe in miracles, YES!’ call might honestly be top 1 greatest calls of all time. Gives me goosebumps whenever we have the opportunity to play it on the air.
So as is tradition if we have a Mon-Fri morning show on February 22nd, we did our daily trivia segment about the Miracle on Ice. I wouldn’t say our trivia segment is all that difficult, but the most complicated dynamic you have to figure out every day isn’t so much the right answer, it’s if you have the right answer and whether or not I KNOW the right answer. We don’t have fact checkers or a team of producers on the B93 morning show. You’ve got a host who slept through college and has access to Google.
