Life is full of challenges; acknowledging the challenges and responding to them in a positive way of impermanence, is important. Like the weather it’s a season of life. Sometimes we mourn or celebrate, at times we doubt or trust, but the important thing is to hold on to hope that things will get better. Sometimes things don’t make sense in life, but keeping hope that every day is a new day helps us through situations.

What you need to know: The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said Monday the state has 306,290 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and there have been 4,955 deaths since the outbreak started. Overall the state said 36.4% of the population has been vaccinated with at least one dose. Kansas is now only updating COVID-19 data on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said Tuesday there have been 497,134 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak and 8,684 deaths.
