Staging a first-time destination festival during a pandemic, on the surface, might not sound like a great business proposition and organizers of the inaugural St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival realize this but they say they re also playing the long game: hoping to establish a brand and audience for the event that will draw turnout for years to come. The St. Augustine Food + Wine Festival will take place May 6 through 9 at the World Golf Hall of Fame and World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort, showcasing local cuisine, wine and craft spirits and beers.
