Alleging that the TMC government has introduced a cut-money and syndicate culture in West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah Thursday said if voted to power BJP would constitute an inquiry into the siphoning off cyclone Amphan relief funds and book the culprits.

Namkhana : , Feb 18 (IANS) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee saying that the slogan of Jai Shri Ram signifies a protest against the politics of appeasement.
Addressing a public gathering in South 24 Parganas district before flagging off the BJP s fifth Poriborton Yatra, Shah said, The Jai Shri Ram slogan is a symbol of protest against the politics of appeasement. It is also the slogan of our Poriborton Yatra. Now, these Poriborton Yatras are being taken out and we will reach every door with the Jai Shri Ram slogan. Ranchi: One person died under mysterious circumstances during an idol immersion procession in Ambatoli colony under Pithoria police station on Wednesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Paras Bedia (45). Rural SP Naushad Alam and DSP Neeraj Kumar reached the spot to initiate an investigation.
Kumar said, “Paras was watching a Saraswati Puja procession along with others at around 7:30pm on Wednesday. No sooner the procession passed, he fell down with a head injury. Villagers rushed him to the local hospital where he passed away.”
The DSP said the exact cause of death will be known after an autopsy. He said one person present at the spot during the incident has emerged as the prime suspect and a search was on to nab him.
