+ April 17, 2021 LABOR group Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) is preparing for a noise barrage on May 1, Labor Day, to condemn the poor condition of workers amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Let us make some noise by clanging our pots and make the deaf administration of Duterte hear our cry for more assistance. It is simply an insult for the government to make us line up the whole day for its meager P1,000 assistance, said KMU secretary general Jerome Adonis.
He said the workers need sufficient wages while displaced employees must be given decent cash assistance. Our call is give daily wage earners P100 additional wage, while those without jobs must be provided P10,000 per month, said Adonis.

I moved back to the UK from South Africa when I was about 15. I turned up in Hull with a South African accent. Some kids thought I d lived in a mud hut and hunted lions. Seriously, she tweeted.
