The NASCAR Cup Series and fantasy players face another unknown this week with the series visiting Circuit of the Americas for the first time in NASCAR competition. The unique road course has hosted Formula 1, IndyCar, and other series, but this is the first time the Cup Series will tackle the 20-turn circuit. Alex Bowman scored his second win of the season last week at Dover, making him just the second driver this season to win multiple races. The win would normally have helped his starting spot for this week s race, but with the many unknowns of a new circuit there is practice and qualifying before Sunday s race, Saturday s weather took away much of the dry track time teams and drivers would have been hoping for. Christopher Bell won the only road course race so far this season, and what could potentially unfold this weekend could be as unpredictable as many

Austin Cindric captured the win last week at Dover. It was his third win this season and gives him the edge this week as the NASCAR Xfinity Series visits a road course, which is where Cindric is at his best. Four of his 11 series wins have come on road courses, but the Xfinity field is stacked with talent on these types of tracks. AJ Allmendinger is known as one of the best road course drivers in NASCAR and multiple road course specialists will be attempting to qualify and race this weekend, too. This is the first time NASCAR will race at the Circuit of the Americas, but fantasy players will get the chance to see practice and qualifying results before Saturday s race gets underway.

Justin Allgaier held off the field in an overtime restart to claim his second victory of the season last week at Darlington Raceway. That win gives him a head full of momentum as he returns this week to Dover International Speedway as the defending winner. Last season s altered NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule saw a double-header at the track where Allgaier and Chase Briscoe split victories over the weekend. Austin Cindric enters the weekend with the highest driver rating at the track, but he will start deep in the field in 16th position. Allagier will start on the outside of the front row with Daniel Hemric taking pole position. Dover has produced 50 different winners from 74 series races, but only eight of those races were won from pole.
