Park patios reopened this week just in time to take advantage of the heatwave.
As part of the province’s Stage 1 reopening plan, restaurant patios reopened on Tuesday for tables of four people from the same household or two contacts of people who live alone.

After a third shutdown since March of 2020, it was welcome news for Jazz Ghuman, owner of Polos Social Lounge in Sherwood Park.
“It’s great. The time has come,” he said. “All businesses should boom from now on. Having patio-only reopen is not bad. It’s better than having a complete shutdown.”

COLLEGE STATION, TX â A woman has been arrested after allegedly running over a man after he attempted to prevent her from driving while intoxicated.
24-year-old Margaret Malone Harris has been charged with an accident involving injury, driving while intoxicated, and possession of cannabis and narcotics.
