Vanessa Browning, who lives in Spalding and runs Community Mind Matters, set up to help residents with depression and anxiety, said she backs new Government proposals ‘100 per cent’. Health and Social Care Secretary Matt Hancock has unveiled a new white paper for the proposals, saying ‘we must bring the Mental Health Act into the 21st century’. Spalding COVID Kindness Team is returning to offer support during Lockdown 3  | Updated: 17:05, 06 January 2021 A team of volunteers who joined together during the first national lockdown has returned to offer support to those who need it the most. The committee behind the Spalding COVID Kindness Team has brought the group back into action after receiving a number of calls following the announcement that the country was to enter another strict lockdown.
