Bakersfield to declare Jan 15 Operation White Lights Day, in honor of front line workers

Mayor Karen Goh, on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, will make a proclamation declaring Friday, January 15 “Operation White Lights Day,” and the city will light up the tree at Centennial Plaza in all white lights in support of the campaign. “Everyone who works in health care has demonstrated unwavering courage in the face of this pandemic,” says Robin Mangarin-Scott, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Dignity Health Central California. “Their strength and humanity is a light of hope for so many patients and families impacted by COVID-19.
