Oxford County will receive $319,000 from the provincial government to help fund services for vulnerable people, such as homeless shelters.
The funding is part of $510 million announced by the province for its Social Services Relief fund to help these vulnerable populations in Ontario.

“We know that COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of having a place to call home, and this additional funding will help ensure every can find – and keep – a safe and secure roof over their head,” Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman said in a release.
