Distribution of financial assistance at Sucat Elementary School in Muntinlupa (Muntinlupa PIO / MANILA BULLETIN) Muntinlupa’s Social Service Department (SSD) has distributed the emergency subsidy to initial beneficiaries who are members of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP), SAP waitlisted individuals, and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) as prescribed by the joint memorandum circular of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Department of National Defense (DND). Muntinlupa Public Information Office chief Tez Navarro said after the payout for priority groups, qualified residents who were not included in the previous lists of beneficiaries even those living or renting in villages and subdivisions can apply for the emergency subsidy.

Muntinlupa resident suggests dividing financial assistance among total population

Distribution of financial assistance in Brgy. Buli, Muntinlupa (Muntinlupa PIO / MANILA BULLETIN) Felixberto Mangada of Brgy. Bayanan in Muntinlupa has posted several videos on Facebook to express his frustration over the distribution of the financial assistance. The national government has allotted P442.19 million for the financial assistance in Muntinlupa and according to Mangada, this can be divided among the city’s population. “P1,469 ang mabibigyan na pera sa kada tao ng Muntinlupa (Each resident of Muntinlupa will get P1,469),” he said in one video based on his estimate. The financial assistance was granted by the national government to residents affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region and the nearby provinces of Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, and Bulacan.
