City of Newcastle’s Digital Library is playing host to a series of workshops to teach local young people skills to share stories through modern mediums like virtual reality, augmented reality and animation.
Delivered through a partnership with Newcastle Libraries and Compass Housing’s Grow a Star Project, the workshops create an opportunity for students who would not usually have access to explore these emerging technologies, to develop new skills and express themselves.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of VT-MC, this individual will provide technical expertise, supervision, operations and maintenance planning and scheduling of the Advanced Manufacturing Lab. The Lab Director will also plan and provide management of day-to-day Lab operations and activities. YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Graduation season kicked off in Yuma Wednesday night with a celebration of some of the Desert Southwest s best and brightest college students.
Arizona Western College (AWC) held a La Cosecha event to recognize the achievements of students who will go on to finish their educations at a four-year university. The ceremony did more than commemorate their academic achievements in front of their classmates and loved ones, it also commended them for overcoming a variety of obstacles.
