After Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted Use Signal on Jan. 7, the messaging app became the talk of the town, even boosting the stocks of yet another company, Signal Advance by 1,100%. This is because the messaging app is only donation-backed.
Aside from the surging number of downloads after Musk sent his tweet, the CEO also revealed that he already donated to the company and has plans to donate more.
