If you go down to the village tonight you’re sure of a big surprise… It’s been a huge few weeks on PlayStation after a relatively slow start to the year, with Resident Evil Village representing the high-profile follow-up to Returnal in a PS5 double-header.

I ve got Resident Evil Village installed on my PS5, but review duty calls first. I ll be checking out Subnautica: Below Zero and Hood: Outlaws & Legends this weekend. Expect a lot of hands on impressions from me across a variety of games next week.

Returnal is readily available, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart looks amazing – and, well, all is well in the PlayStation Nation again, right? It’s certainly been a much more exciting period for the brand – long may the good times roll.

MLB The Show 21 has become a bit of an obsession for me, but they keep adding new things to hold my attention. This could quickly become a problem, to be honest.

You might think that, after dozens of hours spent in Returnal’s never-ending shoot-‘em-up cycle, I’d be done. However, there are still a couple of things I want to wrap up before I play anything else. The game is so much fun that I don’t mind one bit, though.

The weather s really beginning to brighten up and it s glorious. Unfortunately, the world s still no where near back to normal, and while we re feeling more optimistic these days – well, it s still a bit too soon for normality, isn t it? Here s hoping we re finally on a more positive path at least, though, eh?

Now I ve finished my MLB The Show 21 review, I m just enjoying playing the game while I wait for Returnal to release. I feel like I could complement the baseball with a short or easy indie game, so if anyone has any suggestions I m open to something mindless and fun.

I’ll be spending my entire weekend in the bullpen, as I stretch out MLB The Show 21. I may even dig out my Mets jersey to mark the occasion – especially seeing as they’re currently top of the NL East!

I m slowly but surely making my way through Yakuza: Like a Dragon, but I ve just secured review code for, wait for it, Buildings Have Feelings Too. So, Kasuga and the crew will have to wait while I put the city management game through its paces. I m very curious to see how this one fares.
