Time for something completely different. New Mexico United will broaden its competitive horizons Saturday night with a home match against Loudoun United at Isotopes Park. Local fans can be forgiven…
Something to build on heading into Saturday’s home match against Loudoun United? You bet.
“I think what our guys did last week, especially on the defensive side, if we maintain that level 11 on 11, we’ll make it really difficult on any opponent,” Lesesne said. “Playing a man down is never easy, and I felt like our guys battled and enjoyed the challenge. That was encouraging to see.”
New Mexico (2-1-1) will be back at full strength this week, although midfielder Andrew Tinari will be serving an automatic one-match suspension for receiving the two yellow cards that left United playing short-handed at Colorado Springs.
